AI training for small business
Your team using AI well, safely, and in the work they already do.
Most small business teams are already using AI tools, usually without guidance and without rules about what information goes into them. We train owners and staff to use AI for real tasks, and we leave behind written rules the whole team follows.
What the training covers
Practical, not theoretical.
Every session uses your own work as the material. People leave with tasks done, not just notes taken.
Everyday writing
Customer replies, quotes, emails, job descriptions and social posts drafted faster, in your brand voice, and checked by a person before they go out.
Procedures and checklists
Turning the way a job is done into a written procedure that a new hire can follow on day one.
Research and summaries
Reading long documents, comparing options and summarizing meetings, with the habit of checking sources before acting on an answer.
What not to put in
Clear rules on customer data, payment details, passwords and anything private, and which tools and settings keep your information out of public training data.
Prompt playbooks
A short library of tested instructions for your most common tasks, saved where the team can reuse them.
Knowing the limits
Where AI is reliable, where it guesses, and why a person signs off on anything that reaches a customer.
Formats
Sized to the team you have.
Owner workshop
One working session for the owner or manager, built around the tasks that eat most of their week.
Team training series
A short series of live sessions for the whole team, with practice between sessions and a written AI use policy at the end.
Ongoing coaching
Regular check-ins to add new tasks to the playbook, answer questions, and keep the rules current as the tools change.
What you keep
Training that outlasts the session.
- A written AI use policyOne page your team signs off on: approved tools, what data stays out, and who reviews what.
- Your prompt playbookThe instructions that worked in training, saved and organized by task.
- Recordings and notesSo people who join later can catch up without a repeat session.
- A link to your brand and knowledge baseAI writes better when it has your voice and your facts. See branding and knowledge bases.
Questions owners ask.
Do my people need to be technical?
No. If someone can write an email, they can do this. We start from the tasks they already do and build from there.
Which AI tools do you teach?
The ones that fit your business and your budget, including tools you may already pay for inside your email or office software. We do not sell AI tool subscriptions, so the recommendation is based on fit.
Is it safe to put customer information into AI?
Sometimes, with the right tool and settings, and often not at all. That is the first thing the training covers, and it is written into your policy.
Will AI replace my staff?
That is not what we train for. The goal is to take the repetitive writing and searching off their plate so they spend more time on customers and the work itself.
